Our team is comprised of Eve's Family, Friends, NJIT Students, NJIT Mentors, and a community of people who loved Eve and want to keep fighting for a cure for for cancer and fighting for the families who need help at home while fighting cancer.
Eve's Appetite for Cure is a non-profit organization founded by Lisa Marks-Canty to provide critical research data, monetary and social support for cancer patients and their families.
The name refers to the founder's mother, Eve C. Marks who died of stomach cancer. She hopes to direct her passion project with her experience in the technology industry.
Our main goal is to provide as much comfort and assistance to fighters and caregivers of fighters battling all types of cancer but specifically gastric cancer. Our goal is to make critical connections between people who need caregiving or want to communicate with one another and relate to one another in a way that no one else can understand.
